KADIN Business Mission to Switzerland is SuccessfulMarketing Infoglobal
Six Indonesian high-precision machinery and component industries receive cooperation offers from Swiss machine manufacturers. These are revealed by Swiss company in Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Business Mission to Switzerland, 25-27 September 2019.
Those six high-precision component machinary and strategic instrument industries for military aircraft are PT Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta, PT Santoso Teknindo, PT Yogya Presisi Teknikatama Industri, PT Pudak Scientific, dan PT Indonesia Polyurethane Industries. Those five companies are the members of Indonesia Aircraft and Component Manufacturer Association (INACOM). The other participant did not join INACOM but join KADIN Mission Business to Switzerland is PT Design Technics Indonesia.
Their products are component machinery for aerospace industry and products with the category of low volume high mix production. The companies have been certified ISO 9001, AS 9100D, ISO 14001, and have exported to some countries, such as USA, Japan, Swiss, Canada, and a number of Asia countries.
The Swiss companies who accept the business mission are Stadler Rail, a railroad manufacturer; Rheinmetall Air Defense, a weapon and air defense industry; RUAG Airspace who produces aerospace rocket capsule and military & civil defense; ABB Turbo System, turbo machinery manufacturer; and Fehlmann AF, a manual machinery and CNC milling manufacturer. The Swiss companies are surprised to see the development of machinery industry in Indonesia that are seen from presentations by Indonesia companies, especially in the competency of producing the machine, machinery component, and another strategic industry. For example, PT. Infoglobal who produces avionics for military aircrafts, Hawk 100, Hawk 200, F-5 EF Tiger, CASA NC 212-200 and defense control system also components on the cockpit of military and commercial aircrafts. The certificates of the companies add the trust of Swiss companies towards the competencies of their prospective partners from Indonesia.
The Swiss companies state that they have many suppliers from other countries for their industrial needs, especially from Europe, but the price is a quite expensive. If Indonesia companies can offer the products with the same quality and competitive price, it will be more profitable to have suppliers from Indonesia.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Muliaman Hadad, states that the KADIN business mission is very timely, especially in the midst of the increasing need for Swiss industries to get alternative suppliers from Asia.” This business mission is to build positive image towards the competencies of Indonesia midst industry to be a part of global supply chain in the field of high technology” said Muliaman, in his statement received by the editor, Tuesday (1/10).
The participants of this mission express their joy after seeing the enthusiasm of Swiss companies to establish the cooperation with them. The Chairman of Bilateral Committee for Switzerland of KADIN Indonesia, Francis Wanandi, who joins in this business mission states that they rarely get a very positive response like this. Anton Santoso, the President Director of PT Santoso Teknindo also expresses his great hopes to the results of this business mission. “Rarely in the first business meeting we are immediately met to purchasing division. It means they want to buy our products”, said Anton happily.
Anton also expresses his appreciation to the Indonesian Embassy in Bern who has connected them in the business meeting. “We will follow up the meeting results to be realized soon”, Anton added.
